Ola Scooter

Ola is a Bengaluru based electric bike Company founded by Bhavin Agarwal in December 2010. They own an electric scooter manufactured out of Amsterdam called Etergo and also added other electric companies like Kinetic Safar smart, Mahindra E20 plus and Goldstone BYD buses. At the end of 2020 Ola electric was going to build the world largest E-scooter factory in India. Ola Scooter E-Tergo is estimated at 1.5 lakh rupees in India. The ola scooter has a top speed of 95 km/hr with a smart display, GPS, iOS sensors and SIM card. It has a certified range of 80km with three battery modules, so you can travel max distance in optimal conditions of 240 km. Ola Mega electric factory spreads over 1000 acres of land and they try to achieve the goal of putting 1 million electric vehicles on raids in India by 2021. It raised around $307 million from investors like SoftBank, KIA, Hyundai, Tata, Tiger Global and Matrix Partner at a valuation of $1 billion.
ATHER Energy

Ather was founded in 2013 by Swapnil Jain and Tarun Mittal. It’s based in Bengaluru, India, while building their first Ather S340 scooter they face difficulty to raise funds. Swapnil was finally able to convince Sachin Bansal, who owns 20.69% of the company and his brother Binny Bansal, who owns the 4.35% to invest 1 million dollars in December 2014. After six years Ather Energy has raised 140 million dollars from investors like Hero Motocorp, which own 37.84% of the company, Innovate Capital and Tiger Global along with using these funds to sell up to Ather S 340 and to create Ather 450 and Ather 450X.
Ather scooter offers pretty good features like LCD screen, which uses Google map, okay music, and answers call from this display. Also have a mobile app that integrated with the scooter, Incognito mode, stand sensor. Ather scooter’s top speed is 90 km/h and its range is 110 km. They also plan to set up an Ather Energy charging station network called Aether Grid, which is currently present in six cities.
Ultraviolette Automotive

Ultraviolette was founded in Bangalore in 2015 by Niraj Rajmohan and Narayan Subramaniam, they are building a bike called F77, which is going to be launched in 2021. This e-bike goes zero to 60 km in 3 sec and 0 to 100 in 7 sec, it’s top speed 147 km/hr. The travel range of the F77 is between 130km to 150km on a single charge and easily swap out the old battery for a new one. F77 is fully connected with a mobile app that enables us to find out bike location, charging status. You can customise a few things like max speed, max torque and energy regeneration. The company raised 30 Cr in series B round from TVs which own 29.4 per cent.
TORK Motor

TORK Motor is a Pune based electric bikes startup that was officially founded in 2016. But the startup journey began in 2015 when the company founder Kapil Shelke and three of his classmates got together and built their first electric bike. In 2009 bike read6 for the track, this was the isle of man, the most deadly track globally. On the 12th of June 2009, the Trok Tx01 won third place at the Isle of Man TTxGP. They also competed in 2010 with Tx02 and 2012 with Tx03. After Tx05 they got recognition by the Govt of India and other investors. In 2021, Trok Tx06 is expected to launch in India, they get 1000 pre-order in just 24 hrs. The Tx06 price is going to be around 1.25 lakh rupees and it has a Mobile app that indicates battery status, bike location. The range of Tx06 is 100 km and it is working on an AI operating system called Tiros.
Yulu

It is a Bengaluru-based Electric scooter rental start-up founded in 2017 by co-founder Amit Gupta and Naveen Dachuti, R K Mishra and Hemant Gupta. Yulu actually rented through the Yulu app and put some money in Yulu wallet. Its bicycles and scooters used IoT sensors, GPS, QR codes and SIM cards. Since 2017, Yulu auto raised 19.9 million dollars from Bajaj auto which owns 16.67 % of the company, Rocketship.VC which owns 3.84%, Wavemaker Partner and 314 capital. Yulu is currently valued at $78.8 million.
Okinawa

Okinawa was founded in 2015 by Rupali Sharma and Jeetendra Sharma. It is a Gurugram based two-wheeler EV start-ups. The bike name came from after he visited Okinawa island which is known for zero pollution environment, this experience worked as an inspiration to start something that would contribute to creating an ecosystem friendly environment in India, said Jeetendra Sharma
Okinawa scooters are affordable at around 1 lakh rupees for i-Praise plus. The i-Praise plus has a top speed of 58 km /hr and swappable batteries and a smartphone app that mobilise your scooter remotely track its locations, battery usage and also find out when you need to take it for servicing. Okinawa has innovated the Electric bike OKI 100 design to directly compete with Revolt bike RV400.
Revolt Motor

Revolt motor was founded in Gurugram in the bringing of 2019 by one of the Indian co-founders of India’s smartphone manufacturer Micromax Rahul Sharma. He made a personal investment of between 400 to 500 Cr in Revolt start-up. The Electric bike RV400 and RV300 have swappable batteries and are capable of taking their route approximately 85 Kms, its top speed 65 km/hrs for RV300 and 80 km/hrs for RV400. The bike has AI-powered features like geolocation, geofencing, battery swapping, and unique features changing the sounds of the bike.
STORM Motor

STROM Motor was founded in 2010 in Mumbai India by Pratik Gupta and Jean Luc abaziou, and Dr Gilmer Blankenship. These three co-founders innovated made in India three-wheeler but this isn’t an auto-rickshaw, it is a Trike and they called it Strom R3 with estimated price band 4 lakh to 5 lakh rupees.
R3 is a super hi-tech Electric bike, according to Pratik Gupta, R3 scones with 4G connected diagnostic engine and users can track the location and status of charging but also can get a complete health report of critical components like brake pads, motor and electronic. The on-road tracking system continuously tracks the road terrain and driving habits with an AI Machine base navigation engine which is to learn the daily drive routine.
Euler Motor

Euler motor was founded in 2018 in New Delhi India by Saurav Kumar. They are working on Tesla inspired electric auto-rickshaws for Indian cargo sectors. The company has a full-proof ecosystem that includes a charging and Services stations network and they are partners with e-commerce platforms like the big basket, blue dart, Ecom express, Udaan and milk basket. Euler provides service using 200 prototype vehicles. Their vehicles now exit the prototype phase and plan to launch in India in 2021. Euler motor has more than 100 charging stations in New Delhi and NCR and raised more than 35 Cr from investors like Inventus capital partner, Blume Jetty venture, and Udaan co-founder Sujeet Kumar.
Emflux

Emflux is the electric superbike startup that was founded by Ankit Khatry, Varun Mittal and Vijay Rai in 2016. The company’s first bike the Mflex-1 will be the fastest made in India electric superbike when it launched in 2021. Mflex-1 with a top speed of 200 km per hour, zero to 100 km per hour acceleration in 3 sec. It’s a range of 200 km I. The single charge and price will be between 5 to 6 lakh rupees. Emflux also manufactures EV related technologies and components. It raised yeh total of 3.9 Crore rupees and their value goes around 2 million in 2018.
