G R Infraprojects Limited is an integrated road EPC and BOT Company with experience in the design and construction of roads and highways projects across the 15 states in India. The company was incorporated in Dec 1995, head office situated in Ahmedabad Gujarat. The company also manufactures bitumen, thermoplastic road marking paint, and electric poles.

History

The company was incorporated as G R Agarwal builders as developers Limited on December 22, 1995. Later Company received Certification of commenced businesses by Roc Rajasthan, in January 1996 and The company also acquired the business of m/s Gumani Ram Agarwal firm in the same year.

In 2007, The company changed their name from G R Agarwal to G R Infraprojects Limited, as the activities being undertaken by the company reflected its new name on board. The company commenced manufacturing a unit for bitumen emulsion at Amingaon, Assam with an installed capacity of 30000 MT.

G R Infraprojects principle businesses divided into three categories like 1. civil construction activities under the EPC services 2. development of roads, highways on a BOT basis, including under annuity & HAM, and 3. Manufacturing activities such as bitumen emulsion, thermoplastic road marking paint, electric poles and road signage and fabrication & galvanize metal crash barriers.

In March 2010, the company commissioned a wind energy based power plant at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan with an installed capacity of 1.25 MW under the policy for promoting the generation of electricity through Non Conventional energy sources.

G R Infraprojects first BOT project on hybrid annuity model for their company given by NHAI (National Highway Authority of India) with a bid project cost of Rs 13670 million, in 2006. In 2018, Company also got the first railway project by Indian railways. 

Construction Business

The company has more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and construction industry. Its primary business of civil construction comprises EPC projects in the road sector, Since 2006 the company has executed over 100 plus projects in this sector. G R Infraprojects has experience in constructing state and national Roads or highways, bridges, flyovers, airport runways and culverts. The company develops roads and highways on a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) basis, including annuity and hybrid annuity model (HAM). They own the three operational road projects construction and development on a BOT basis.

Products Manufacturing Facilities

The company has three house manufacturing facilities for processing bitumen, thermoplastic road marking paint and road signage and fabrication and galvanizing units for metal crash barriers.

1. In 2009, G R Infraprojects started operations in the bitumen emulsion, PNB manufacturing unit at Kaladwas in Rajasthan with an annual installed capacity of 30000 MT.
2. In 2014, the company also started operations at their second bitumen emulsion manufacturing unit at Amingaon Assam with an installed capacity of 30000 MT.
3. In 2015, G R Infraprojects started a manufacturing unit for metal crash barriers at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, having an annual installed capacity of 24000 MT.
4. The company established a manufacturing factory at Sandila, Uttar Pradesh for bitumen emulsion, ENH with an installed capacity of 2496 MT.

IPO Launched

The company plans to raise around Rs 963.28 Cr from fresh issue shares. The issue price at Rs 828 – Rs 837 per equity share. The IPO opens on 7 July and closes on 9 July 2021. The current GMP of G R Infraprojects IPO is  Rs 420 to Rs 425 premium. Its premium expecting more than 50 % listing gains from issue prices.
